These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bluegrass Movers website and the moving services provided by Bluegrass Movers LLC, doing business as Bluegrass Movers ("Bluegrass Movers," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Bluegrass Movers provides residential and commercial moving services, including local and long-distance moves, packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, in-house shuffling, and specialty moves such as pianos and safes. Bluegrass Movers is a licensed and insured mover and is federally certified to transport household goods across state lines (USDOT). Service availability may vary based on location, scheduling, and the nature of the move.

2. Quotes & Estimates

Quotes and estimates are based on the information you provide and are not a final, binding price unless stated in writing. The final cost may change if the actual scope of the move differs from what was described (for example, additional items, access challenges, or changes to dates or locations). We will communicate any change before proceeding whenever possible.

3. Booking, Scheduling & Cancellations

We schedule moves on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not require a down payment. There are no cancellation or rescheduling fees; however, we appreciate as much notice as possible so we can serve all of our customers well.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of your move unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.

5. Your Responsibilities

To help your move go smoothly, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your move;

• Ensure safe and legal access to both the origin and destination;

• Disclose any items requiring special handling; and

• Properly prepare and, where applicable, pack items not covered by our packing service.

6. Prohibited & Hazardous Items

For everyone's safety, we cannot transport hazardous, flammable, explosive, perishable, or illegal materials, or other items we reasonably determine to be unsafe. Please tell us in advance if you're unsure whether an item can be moved.

7. Liability & Damage Claims

We handle your belongings with care and carry insurance as a licensed and insured mover. Our liability for loss or damage is limited as provided by applicable law and the valuation coverage selected for your move. To file a claim, notify us promptly in writing at info@bluegrassmovers.com with a description of the affected items.

Interstate moves. As a federally certified interstate carrier, for moves across state lines we provide the consumer information required by federal law — including the "Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move" booklet — and offer you a choice of valuation coverage: Released Value Protection (included at no additional charge, with limited per-pound liability) or Full Value Protection (available for an added cost). We will explain these options before your move so you can choose the right level of coverage for your belongings.

Have an attorney confirm the written liability language here matches the valuation coverage you actually offer.

All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of Bluegrass Movers or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. You agree to use the website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation.

10. Limitation of Liability
