Getting Started
How do I get a quote?
It's free and easy. Fill out the estimate form on our site, call us at (479) 325-8869, or email info@bluegrassmovers.com. The more detail you give us — addresses, move date, property type, and what you're moving — the more accurate your quote.
Do you charge for estimates?
Never. Estimates are always free, with no obligation.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better, especially in summer and at month-end when demand is highest. That said, we'll always do our best to fit you in — reach out even if your timeline is tight.
Pricing & Payment
Do you require a deposit or down payment?
No. We don't take down payments.
When do I pay?
Payment is only collected once your move is complete — not before.
Are there cancellation or rescheduling fees?
None. Life happens. There are no cancellation fees and no rescheduling fees.
Are there hidden fees?
No. We believe in honest, upfront pricing. If anything about your move would change the quote, we'll talk to you about it first.
Our Services
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Northwest Arkansas and handle both local and long-distance moves. We've taken jobs all the way to California — around the block or across state lines, we're up for it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Bluegrass Movers is a licensed and insured moving company — and we're federally certified to move household goods across state lines (USDOT). That interstate authority is something many local movers don't hold, and it means your long-distance move is handled by a properly registered carrier.
Can you really move me to another state?
Yes. We're a certified interstate carrier, so we can legally and safely move you across state lines — we've gone as far as California. For interstate moves, we'll also walk you through your federal protections, including your valuation coverage options and the consumer information every interstate customer is entitled to.
What can you move?
Just about anything: residential and commercial moves, packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, in-house furniture shuffling, and specialty items like pianos and safes. No move is too big or too small — from one piece of furniture to loading five trucks for a cross-country haul.
Do you handle pianos and safes?
Yes. We have the equipment and experience for spinets, uprights, baby grands, and safes of any size and weight. These items get the extra care they require.
Can you just load or unload my rental truck? Absolutely. If you've rented a truck, trailer, or storage unit and just need an extra set of hands, we'll load it securely or unload it with care.
Do you offer packing services?
Yes. Our team can pack and label your entire home, freeing you up to focus on everything else. (Want to pack yourself? See our Packing Pointers page for tips and a free checklist.)
What is in-house shuffling?
It's when you need furniture or items moved within the same home or office — rearranging rooms, clearing space — without anything leaving the property. We handle the heavy lifting.
Scheduling & Logistics
Do you work weekends?
Yes. We answer calls and emails daily, weekends included.
